Hi Clint I used the a manual to understand and write some own code to control the ptz cameras with a ps4 controller. the default is to write all parameters in a preset. maybe you can specify only the location, but i didn't go further into this: https://github.com/apochroma/ptz-ps4-crn300 kind regards, Claus
BTW I have seen, in the experimental version 3.0.0 (3.0.0+5753-beta-8b87239b) This build is experimental there is the ability to check what you want to save.
Thank you for creating a great module for controlling Canon PTZ cameras with Stream Deck/Companion. Your module is 100 times easier to use than Canon’s $2000 PTZ controller. Anyway, I have one request to also include the option to select the ‘Last Preset Used’ in the pull-down list for the Save Preset action. I typically need to make minor adjustments (Pan/tilt, WB, gain, etc.) after I recall a preset, and I would like to save those adjustments quickly for the next time I need to recall the preset. Being able to have a button setup to just save the last preset used would eliminate the need to find and manually enter the preset number to save the settings. (I currently use the Canon PTZ controller to save the preset. I use a lot of presets and combine multiple PTZ cameras each with its own preset recall action in single Companion button. It’s just not feasible to setup 30+ separate save preset buttons for each camera.) Hopefully, this makes sense. If its possible to make this change, or know a better way to accomplish the same thing, that would be great. Let me know if any questions. Thanks, Clint
