Cue time remaining Feedbacks appear to be just under a second ahead #127

Cue time remaining Feedbacks appear to be just under a second ahead on the button display vs the qlab app and the variables page in companion. Might be a companion issue...

Companion 3.2.2 - Raspberry Pi Qlab 5.3.8 - macOS Sonoma14.3 / Monterey 12.7.5

Thanks Matt

Have you tried the 'Use Tenths?' option?

Companion is not perfectly synchronized due to the communication delays and count-out is not rounded. Without the 'Use Tenths?' option set, 1 second is poor resolution for a count-out. For example, is the digit changing at exactly 2 seconds or 2.7, or 2.2? A display of 1 second could actually be 1.9 seconds, so the counter was adjusted to compensate. 'Out in 3, 2, 1, 1, huh?'

Ah okay, I understand I’m using tenths, so basically not seeing the .9 of 1.9?

I’ll try turning that off.

Thanks

Tried without tenths which has made the display count just under a second behind now, so would prefer to be ahead!
