Acer PL6510 Projector doesnt work #59

Hello, I tried to connect an Acer PL6510, but it only shows OK on the connection, but the variables are empty and the beamer dont respond to any command. I tried PJLinkTest from the https://pjlink.jbmia.or.jp/ and the projector responded as expected.

Which version of companion? The module in V3.0 has a lot of improvements over the 2.4 version.

I use 2.4 because 3 is beta. I've tested with version 3, but with the same result.

According to the log you posted, that projector is sending lower case responses. The protocol does not really specify and the vast majority of projectors encountered respond with uppercase. An earlier issue was the module sent lower case, yet some projectors would respond only when the queries are uppercase. There is no workaround until the module is updated to accommodate a lower case response.

@metalmatze74 This should be fixed in the latest v3.0 build. V3.0 is close to release and v2.4 is not receiving updates anymore.
