Active module causes entire companion install to lag #4

Running latest release (2.2.0) on Mac. Whenever an instance of rsc is enabled, all button presses in companion have a 1-3 second delay, and feedback/variable display is slowed or fails. This is not limited to rsc control, but every other button press, even just page changes.

Very peculiar. I just took a look at the module code, and it has not had any significant changes in 2 years. I'm wondering if there could possibly be a network issue or something else causing a hangup. Can you try nuking your setup and starting fresh, to rule out some config issues?

I’ll give it a go when I’m back on site tomorrow. I wondered about networking being an issue (there’s a new Cisco based rollout which has not gone well) but i had the same storms when i tried out with no network access. I’ll also try exporting my setup and putting it on a PC and see what happens.
