I am having an issue with the LG_Display module. This does already exist in companion. The name of the device, hardware, or software you would like to control: LG Screens. The Model that I am working with is LG 75UR640S0TD

What you would like to be able to make it do from Companion: Initially this works perfectly. I am able to turn the screen on and off. However when the screen is on it loses connection. I can establish the connection again by deactivating the LG_Display module and reactivating it again. It feels like it times out. does this module need to ping the LG_Screen to maintain the connection? It feels that way. I have set "WOL" on and I am controling this via LG's ip control.

Direct links or attachments to the ethernet control protocol or API: MFL71809905_02_210609.pdf

Thank you so much, Regards, Jamie

I have done some more testing. If the LG_Display companion module is started when the LG Screen is on it works perfectly. Its when its off and I turn the screen ON (WOL) The screen turns on but the LG module will not connect to the LG screen. If i disable and re-enable the module it re-establishes connection.

I will transfer this to the lg module

Thank you @josephdadams you are amazing. Is there any work arounds that you can think of to get this up and running temporally?

I made a trigger with the condition "On computer becoming unlocked" and then set the Action to "internal: Connection: Enable or disable connection" and selected the LG Module. Works for my set up but I'd definitely be happier with a proper fix.

Thank you @NOMNOMNOM117. I have made this which I am yet to test. So its good that you have mentioned what you have done so that I know I am on the right track. Thank you again. I may reach out to you if this doesn't work as I wanted to adjust the delay on the module enable disable. But i'm thinking that this should, as this is part on the on button push. If not ill try the trigger.
