The AVLINE (NETGEAR) options do not actually work.
We had a customer raising an issue with us, that the options aren't working.
I've downloaded Companion, and tested it on an M4250, where unfortunately the button (actions) do not produce the requested result.
Steps To Reproduce
Connect switch with Companion
Setup button with actions (PoE reset, PoE toggle, switch reboot)
Press buttons on Stream deck
No output (result) is produced after
Expected Behavior
That the switch either toggles PoE, performs a PoE reset, or, reboots the switch
Environment (please complete the following information)
- OS: Windows 10
- Browser: Edge, Version 122.0.2365.92 (Official build) (64-bit)
- Companion Version: 3.2.2 (3.2.2+6688-stable-7417d2a0)
Additional context
I'm an engineer at NETGEAR, specifically in the ProAV team.
I also am a fullstack dev. in my spare-time, so I am quite familiar with our API integration.
I would presume (I might be wrong, please do correct me...), that you use the API for these integrations...
If so, can you supply me where this is integrated, and I can confirm the code is correct or wrong? I could possibly also contribute to the development of the AV-Line switches (These include M4250, M4300, M4350 and M4500).
Is this a bug in companion itself or a module?
Is there an existing issue for this?
