NoHassleAV 8x8 Seamless HDMI Matrix #1

I'd love to see support for this unit - https://www.nohassleav.com/support/matrix_hdmi_8x8_4k_seamless/

They have a series of hex commands that can be sent to change the inputs and recall scenes.

@josephdadams the protocol commands are completely different between the 8x8 and the 16x16 but can make sense to put it in one module

@SkylerJEhly Could you please clarify which matrices are currently compatible? Does the 8x8 Seamless HDMI Matrix work with the module?

I actually never submitted my solution because I was never able to test it with akurcan. I believe @josephdadams developed the module but it is completely untested. The unit that this module was developed for was http://www.nohassleaudiovideo.com/support/matrix_hdmi_8x8_4k_seamless/ which I'm guessing is your device?

Can you please provide the IP commands for this device? I cannot locate them myself. They should be in your included manual.

At this point I recommend using the current version that is with companion which was developed by joseph and then report any new issues through github. From there we can make bug fixes to the current release.

I don't have the unit yet. Wanted to make sure it would work before purchasing. I did send the company an email requesting the manual. Will let you know when they reply.

No Hassle AV support says that the 4x4 seamless version has identical controls of the 8x8 version (http://www.nohassleaudiovideo.com/support/matrix_hdmi_8x8_4k_seamless/)
