As soon I add the Module - Bitfocus Companion crashes #8

I add the module (searched by Name), I'm able to enter the IP of the RP50... then nothing happens and GUI is no longer working. If I try to connect I got a timeout... and sometimes Companion says "Houston, we have a problem". Latest Bitfocus Comp. Version (downloaded today).

Restarting, the same. No longer able to do anything in the GUI. I deleted (moved) the complete Folder in AppData. Started from Scratch - > same issue.

As I see, presets are not supported with this controller... so I will try to use Streamdeck SW and Panasonic Interface Specification, not using Bitfocus Comp. - just to let you know.

Hi @RalfSchomy what version of Companion are you using? if you are on 2.1.3 or 2.1.4 this is kind of what I had expected would happen, there somehow the module broke between the 2.1.2 and 2.1.3, after I did a lot of work on it in the 2.2.0 betas, and when we came around for release it got back ported to 2.1.3, and it for sure did not like that. so please take a look at the 2.2.0 betas if you want to use this module.

Hi @McHauge, thank you for your fast reply! Yes - 2.1.4 I'll give it a try with the Beta tomorrow, when I'm back in the office.

Exactly same problem here, but the show is running 😢 so I'll try the beta later

the current plan seems to be that there will be a stable release of companion 2.2.0 later this month, so in that way, it will kind of fix itself again
