@karlvti1 It doesn’t look like the v-can software itself has any Ethernet protocols to control it, and a quick search didn’t reveal the n9 control protocol. Please reach out to NovaStar and ask for it. Be sure to ask if the protocol can be used in an open source software. Thanks!

Hi Joseph Thanks I have got the protocols but i have to wait on conformation for use on open source software

Found this- watching. I will be connecting with the suppliers and finding out if the code can be used in open source and reporting back.

I know when I inquired about the protocol for the VX4S, I had to sign an agreement to not share it. But then I found the same PDF they sent me all over the Internet.

Anyone who has seen the protocol (like me) not only can’t​*use it in open source software, but cannot disclose it. Permission needs to be granted by the rights holders. I will try to run this up the food chain. But they might be trying to protect their ability to make the only control surfaces for these units and don’t understand the outweighing benefit of the marketing potential of integration.

I wonder is there any updates from Novastar side? Because as I can assume it’s about buying C1 controller? Well ok, how about sending the commands through that one then? We all know the reason behind the need of this is triggering a multiple commands at the same time and even with 2 people it’s a silly coordination.
