@RockitFX can you provide any documentation for this?
Hi, I don't know what documentation you would need, as all documentation about the software is readily available on the Madrix website. That being said, I no longer need any help with this matter as I've sold all of my stream decks & opted to continue using touch screen monitors insteads. While I still think the stream deck would work well for this application, I am not a software developer & apparently no one else was interested in this use case. Cheers.
Then I will close this request. Have a nice day!
Please reopen this request. Madrix is one of the best lighting control softwares on the market. I think it is widely used and really easy to implement as it already offers a html based control interface
Please provide the needed documentation.
I think in their manual there should be all the necessary info someone with basic coding knowledge (obviously that's not me haha) would need to build a companion Madrix remote module http://help.madrix.com/m5/html/madrix/input__remote_control.html
Also the team at Inoage has been really helpful with any request I've had in the past.
I suspect that the HTTP method would be the best way? https://help.madrix.com/m5/html/madrix/index.html?hidd_remote_http.html
Describe the feature A clear and concise description of what the feature does I would like to use a stream deck to trigger events in Madrix. Madrix can be controlled by Artnet, DMX, midi, etc., but there are no provisions to trigger programs with keyboard shortcuts.
Is this platform dependent (windows, mac, ..)? Explain Madrix is PC only
If documentation is required to implement, do you know where to find it? If applicable, add screenshots, protocol description PDFs, etc to help the developers along
Usecases Add a couple of usecases for why this should be implemented and when/why to use it. Madrix is a very popular VJ software used to control large LED installations, usually during a live concert or at a sophisticated nightclub. The buttons of the Stream Deck make it an ideal interface for madrix, as you would be able to visually see the effect before triggering it. It would also be AWESOME if there was a way to pull the button graphics directly from Madrix.
