Soundcraft SI Series Console Control Module (Harman HiQnet) #174

Open jwnremt opened 4 years ago

jwnremt commented 4 years ago

I would like to see a module that allows for control of Soundcraft SI series consoles (Expression, Impression, and Performer). Some of these features would be used for direct recall from a stream deck but others might be used for programmed recall via OSC Button Presses.

Feature requests: -Mute/Unmute Channels and mixes -adjust levels if possible (Fade up to x over y time?) -recall scenes -recall fader layers. -feedback of channel name for use on a mute button -feedback of current levels -feedback of the current & next scene. -Pan Adjust -Output/Send Select (LR/Mono/Mix) -EQ/Gate/Comp On/off

I have an SI Performer 3, and an SI Expression 1 and would commit to testing the module features.

+1 to this. I'd add the SI Impact to the List. Also there's protocol info in pr #60 available

+1 for muting/unmuting individual channels, VCAs, Auxes, and Mute Groups. Changing fader (up/down) would be useful as well.

Module request 390 For Soundcraft VI series console should in theory work with this module request as both use Harman HiQnet as their network protocol. Documentation above.

Has anyone made progress on this, is it possible, is it a funding issue?

Just curious if there has been any work on this? I was also wondering if anyone has done more with HiQnet, we have some BSS products that use HiQnet Audio Architect and it would be super nice to integrate that with companion. If that hasn't been done, how easy would myself or someone be able to integrate it?

rutledgek commented 12 months ago

It has not really progressed. I’ve experimented with decoding commands and sending them, but I don’t know how it could be turned into a functional module.

I have implemented these functions through hardware in Si Expression 1/2/3. My email: 418668305@qq.com
