ubiquity unifi LED Panel #437

Hello im hoping you can help me. I have ordered a ubiquity unifi LED poe+ panel - https://www.ui.com/search/?q=unifi+led+panel and would like to be able to control it via a streamdeck as part of a larger group of commands the streamdeck already does.

I have emailed them asking for their ethernet protocols but havent heard back just yet. The manual can be found here https://dl.ubnt.com/qsg/ULED-AT/ULED-AT_EN.html

I know the panel has dimming capabilities among other things, but all i really need it to do is turn on at a pre designated intensity and then turn off with another button press.

let me know if there is anything else i can help with this request.

many regards

Jack

Hi does this mean that this can not be done?

McHauge commented 3 years ago

@JJordanlso it means that you did not provide any information about how to communicate directly with the lights, as in what API and how that works. of if it's a TCP/UDP protocol. no info means no module unless someone really digs deep, it happens sometimes where someone reverse engineer a communication protocol. but in general the more info the bigger the chance for a module.

Ok thanks, understood i shall try and find that information.

I expect someone with the skill to create companion modules may be able to infer the control scheme from one of these:
