As I recall soundboard doesn't have a external protocol? You could use the octopus listener for Mac and create hotkeys

True. It does have midi support i believe plus they have their own ipad controller. Not sure what protocol the iPad controller would use.

You could convert OSC to midi on the machine were the software is running. App's like OSCulator accept OSC and convert it to midi.
