This is my first attempt reporting an issue so appologies if I'm not formatting it correctly.
I've tried using the Spotify Remote module for a few "virtual shows" recently. Each time it works great at first and then after a few hours the commands stop working. I have a button that displays the current playing track so I can see that Companion is still receiving data from Spotify but none of the commands are working.
We had rehearsals yesterday and it worked for about half the day. If I create a new app and re-setup the connection in companion it works again.
This morning I went to the "apps" tab in my spotify account and removed everything else that had access except for my companion app. One that seemed like a potential problem is I did have my account linked to "Alexa". All those devices are turned off but maybe Alexa intergration makes other apps unstable? I'll know more after our show today.
Another odd observation: When I log into the developer app in Spotify there is "no data available". This seems strange since I am successfully sending commands with the app.
There's a really good chance this is user error (me), but I'm not sure what I might be doing wrong. So if anyone has any thoughts/tricks, any help would be welcome.
