SPX-GC is an overlay manager #6

Hi there,

I have been using SPX-CG to manage broadcast overlays via a web interface. It allows the creation of dynamic templates using HTML & javascript. I have also been able to take a +20Mb video created in After Effects and using Lottie Files to convert it to a 600kb JSON file and added to a template.

It would be great to be able to link a playout to Companion and assign each asset to a button for easy access.

What do you think?

The Github repo says public API control is planned. I didn't see it listed in the documentation you provided. So I've labeled this accordingly. If I'm wrong or the API becomes available, please report back.

Thanks @josephdadams , I have managed to get a limited level of control via the Generic HTTP module. I'll stay in touch with him and advise if things progress.

There is now an API for this. There's a demo at: http://35.228.47.121:5000/api/v1

Cheers, Sean

Hi, I am really looking forward to this being part of Companion. What's the timeline on that?
