[BUG] Companion connection with MixEffect something is wrong #9

I have the latest version of Companion for Win10 (IP: 192.168.2.79). I have the latest version of MixEffect on my MacBook Air (IP: 192.168.2.118). I control any ATEM Extreme Switcher from MixEffect.

MixEffect has automation enabled and the switcher has OSC Server and HTTP server enabled.

Whether I enter any existing or non-existing IP address into Companion, the connection status of the module is always "OK", as shown in the picture. In MixEffect, under the specific Switcher, I don't see any data in the "Companion IP address" line.

When I try to open http://192.168.2.118:8080/ (the address for the MixEffect HTTP Server), the browser reports that there is no web service at that IP address:port.

There's currently no verification being done in the module to detect whether the connection to MixEffect is valid. There is an update to the module for Companion 3.0 coming soon which fully implements the HTTP server feedback system. When this is running on MixEffect and the setting is enabled in Companion, you will see an error when Companion cannot communicate with MixEffect.
