ip-adresses raspberry #16

Open endlichmitnamen opened 1 year ago

Is this a feature relevant to companion itself, and not a module?

Is there an existing issue for this?

Describe the feature

raspberry version of companion can handle more than one static ip-adresses

Usecases

typically the devices to be controlled are distributed with different ip-addresses in several address spaces. in the windows version of companion these spaces can easily be defined via the respective network adapter. in the raspberry version this is only possible in a very complex way. a simple possibility to assign several addresses in different address spaces to the raspberry would be optimal.

I'm not sure that we should do anything here, as we don't currently touch any network config, and I am not sure it is worth our time to But if you want to add some instructions to the wiki/documentation on how to do this, that would be accepted and a much quicker solution
