is it possible to install 2.x version instead of 3.x when running the install script? can't find any documentation on how to install previous versions or downgrade
@Julusian can you help?
I think it will be as simple as installing from that script, then running:
sudo git clone https://github.com/bitfocus/companion.git /usr/local/src/companion
(get a copy of the v2 code, and tell the updater to run in v2 mode)sudo companion-update
(perform an update to another v2 version, and do the necessary tasks to make it runnable)sudo rm -R /home/companion/.config/companion-nodejs/
(remove the empty v3 config, so that when you do update to v3 it will import your v2 config)I havent tested this so it could break in many ways, but it might work
Might need some optionally interactive portions, or something
