Monogram Creative Console #1722

As a user of Monogram Creative Console and Bitfocus Companion, I would like the ability to use the Monogram hardware as an input device either alongside or instead of a Streamdeck.

Monogram uses a series of dial, key, slider, and joystick-like (Orbiter) modules that connect magnetically into a contiguous layout.

A few ideas for how Monogram could be used:

This is much more than a module request; it's really something that would have to be considered at the core level. For that reason, I am transferring it to the companion repo issues list.

I don't see that this product has motorized faders, without, that I don't see the value, except that it looks cool. I think the next level of control would be a "Mackie Control" layer. My 2 cents

There are 5 module types of which only one has sliders. If going out-of-sync is an issue, then that's a reason to use the dial and orbiter modules since they use endless and relative values (versus an absolute position like faders or potentiometers) which never go out-of-sync by nature.
