I have the same exact problem.
The problem gets fixed when you reinstall the app. A bit cumbersome when you have to reinstall the app every time you close the laptops lid and open it up again.
I reinstalled (yes removed drivers on uninstall), no fix for me.
Hey are you guys all on macOS 10.13?
Im on 13.0 but had the same problem on 12.5
same here. 13.0 Beta (22A5321d)
Hi, as I am not able to replicate this issue in the latest version of eqMac, I would be closing this issue for now. If you are still having this issue, please reopen this issue and leave a comment. Note that the no audio issue could still happen in the latest version really rarely. If that happens, either reboot your Mac or run the command below, which would attempt to restart the macOS audio service, although it might not actually do it.
sudo launchctl kickstart -k system/com.apple.audio.coreaudiod
Describe the bug
EqMac will play audio for less than 1 second, then no audio can be heard. Does not matter which of the two outputs I select.
When I change the output, or Reset Audio Engine, the issue re-occurs.
When I quit EqMac, audio resumes to function.
Issue began to occur on upgrade to 1.5.1
Setup information:
Screenshots or Console.app logs
Then this re-occurs on and on and on:
