[bitnami/postgresql] there are not all metrics from charts #14250

Closed GorSarg closed 1 year ago

GorSarg commented 1 year ago

Name and Version

bitnami/postgresql 10.16.2; bitnami/mongodb 11.1.10

What steps will reproduce the bug?

I could not find all metrics from mongodb and postgres. my values yaml files are

postgres

metrics:
  enabled: true
  serviceMonitor:
    enabled: true

mongodb

metrics:
  enabled: true
  serviceMonitor:
    enabled: true

The instances are operational, but there aren't many metrics available. Is it possible to investigate problems? Perhaps there are some other flags I should include.

Are you using any custom parameters or values?

postgres

metrics:
  enabled: true
  serviceMonitor:
    enabled: true

mongodb

metrics:
  enabled: true
  serviceMonitor:
    enabled: true

What is the expected behavior?

see all metrics

What do you see instead?

a couple of them

Additional information

No response

javsalgar commented 1 year ago

Hi,

Could you provide which metrics appear and which are expected to appear and don't?

GorSarg commented 1 year ago

here you can find all metrics which we have

We are expecting to have some other metrics as well, such as pg_settings_max_connections, pg_stat_activity_count

Hi @GorSarg,

I think your issue is related to https://github.com/prometheus-community/postgres_exporter/issues/735. Could you check it and tell me if I'm right?

GorSarg commented 1 year ago

hi @Mauraza In chart bitnami/postgresql 10.16.2, which version of postgres exporter are you using? I checked in version 0.10.0 and it works properly.

Mauraza commented 1 year ago

Hi @GorSarg.

Did you try the last version? But it seems that postgresql-exporter no show that metrics
