Describe your issue as much as you can

I opened bitnami-lamp-8.2.12-r0-debian-11-amd64.ova in Vmware and was soon able to reach the starting page http://SERVER-IP just OK.

This is the first thing your documentation tells to do:

And this is where it stops. The next part is to "deploy php application to /opt/bitnami/apache/htdocs" I don't have that kind of folder structures in my virtual machine folder, just .vmsd, .vmx, .vmxf etc files.

I tried to check yout open & closed issues, but found nothing.

Are there instructions for this?

Those are local files, (on your local machine) You need to ssh into the VM, for that you need to enable SSH:

Oh yeah... Why do we have to ask all these? I'm first time testing web development with vmware lamp. I have previously worked on production servers and managed system with e.g. cpanel. Local development via XAMPP.

After this few days waiting, it already seems wayyyy to uncomfortable way to use this virtual lamp stack.

Anyway, I cannot even get in with WinSCP after enabling SSH
