[<WordPress Certified by Bitnami and Automattic>] <Problem with changing Administration Email Address> #1394

Hello people

I have installed "WordPress Certified by Bitnami and Automattic" on Google Cloud. Almost everything is ok. I connected the domain and installed the SSL certificate. Everything works. The website is at www.aef.pl

There's only one problem. Changing the Administration Email Address does not work. I'm trying to change the default "user@example.com" address to my Gmail address and I'm not getting any confirmation email.

This doesn't work on any address.

I installed Contact Form 7 - but the newly created mail forms don't work either.

I additionally installed "WordPress with NGINX and SSL Certified by Bitnami and Automattic" in the Google cloud - for testing purposes. There is also a problem with this installation.

This is my first contact with installing Wordpress in the cloud - please be gentle :)

Hi @Figoor,

Thanks for using Bitnami. You need to configure SMTP settings to receive the confirmation email. You can find more information on how to configure it in our docs linked below
