Playing Switch games at 4K

After working on plex-placebo, I realised that I could potentially use Anime4K for upscaling my Switch games. Turns out it works perfectly! Nowadays, you can get a 1080p60 capture card for ~AUD$120, so it’s essentially a $120 upgrade to play Switch games on your PC at up to 4K – totally worth it imo.

Im having a small problem. When I go to change "Target" to C:\Program Files\mpv\mpv.exe av://dshow:video="Game Capture HD60 S" --profile=low-latency --untimed (No quotes). it says 'C:\Program Files\mpv\mpv.exe av://dshow:video="Game Capture HD60 S" --profile=low-latency --untimed' is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct. If I add the quotes it says the same thing except 'C:\Program' is its problem.

Just wanted to thank you for your instructions. Thanks to them I was able to replicate your results. Although, in the end,I switched from Anime4k to FSRCNNX as I feel Anime4k modified the original image too much, giving it a painting like appearance. Whereas FSRCNNX is more subtle. Well,at least that was my experience with Zelda Breath of the Wild.

Ir someone else wants to try FSRCNNX, just make sure to modify the mpv.conf and chage "profile" to low-latency instead of gpu-hq.

I had the issue that mpv sometimes just won't open. Just add "--no-resume-playback" in the properties, that solved it for me.
