missing genesis block #3588

Why is the btc genesis block totally missing?

It cannot be found by searching for the hash.

If you search for the bitcoin address 1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa the balance is missing exactly 50btc of the genesis block.

Bitpay still doesn't know the genesis block. This is a non-sense problem. Why should a valid block be missing from the DB?
