I'm having the same issue. Not that Crypto-savvy, so I really have no idea how to fix this. Any ideas?
Please can an expert offer some advice.
Thanks
I am having the same issue @gabrielbazan7
Hi ! Take a look to the Copay FAQ : https://github.com/bitpay/copay/wiki/COPAY---FAQ#i-cant-send-bch.
Translate the address from the exchange using the tool, and use that address as recipient.
Thanks for your reply however, I am still lost.
I have looked in Copay and my addresses start with C.
I have copied into the address converter and got new addresses starting with 1.
In Copay I now have separate wallets, for the original BTC which is zero balance, and a duplicate for the BCH.When I try to send BCH I get a message saying "Insufficient funds" because it is trying to send BTC.
If I got to Copay Settings, and select BCH, it say "No wallet eligible for Bitcoin Cash support."
I am now so confused, I don't have a clue what to do to send my BCH to either another wallet or an exchange. Please can you give me some steps. I have Exodus, and Jaxx wallets. I have accounts at Poloniex, and Bittrex.
Thank you in advance.

Translate the addres from the exchange or wallets using the tool, you will get an address that start with C. Then, in Copay use that address as recipient, then by clicking on the currency change it to BCH, enter the amount, choose your bch wallet and confirm the transaction.
It worked for me after I updated my wallet (important!) and translated the address using the tool cited above. At that point I could send the BCH 'back' to my wallet and then on to an exchange. Good luck!
Yeeha! Thanks you so much - it's worked.
I REALLY appreciate your help.
Best regards

Look back in the thread - the link is there.
I've deleted the thread at my end so I can't give it to you exactly, but it's just a few days ago.

I have tried to send BCH to different exchanges and wallets but each time I get "Please enter a valid address." I have tried this over two months, so it's not just an issue today.
The balance shown in copay recovery is correct.
Any ideas please?
Thanks
