What is "git clone -b next" ?

I get this error. ubuntu@exo:~/workspace/bitpay$ sudo git clone -b next https://github.com/bitpay/insight.git && cd insight/server Cloning into 'insight'... fatal: Remote branch next not found in upstream origin

im'sorry ! I'm just a new user,I am somewhat confused whih this step please!

I managed to get it up and running via the readme in the /app folder.

Tried following the README under app/ and have had no luck (errors out). Could you please outline your process used in detail. Versions of MongoDB used, Version of Node/Node.js, Insight version (was it the master branch recently?), Linux Version (I'm attempting both Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04)

Basically, I'd love a Howto guide on building/running this on Ubuntu 16.04 (18.04 if needed), or even how to do it into a Docker container.
