Bitcoin Cash import using recovery phrase or .json not working in v6.1.1 / Legacy derivation path #10122

Hello,

im using Copay v6.1.1 on ubuntu 16.04 and im unable to use the recovery phrase to recover bitcoin cash.

I have the same recovery phrase for Bitcoin & Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin recovery works fine.

The funds are showing on the BCH & BTC blockchains on the same address but when i use the import option to specify the recovery phrase then select show advance options and specify derivation path, i leave it at the default (m/44'/145'/0') and specify coin as bitcoin cash it shows the balance as 0 upon import.

I've also tried using the .json option and that wont even allow specifying the coin.

Hope this bug can be soon resolved.

For BCH try changing the 145 to 0 and let me know if that shows anything

yep that fixed it. man does this space keep changing always.

Hi I have the same problem, but changing 145 to 0 did not work, can you please help
