Forgot my Passwort for my Bitpay Wallet on Android #11434

hi guys, a question: I bought a bit of bitcoins on my Bitpay wallet a year ago, but I forgot the password. Is there a way to crack it (legally) or to bypass the password request? Bitpay write me that is only possible with the 12 words, these I have not written down, because I had planned to buy something directly with the bitcoins.

I use a Samsung S9

Ps: its just 300§, but money is money :D

It is cryptographically impossible to recover the funds without the password or the recovery phrase. This is a security feature. However, to my knowledge, you're free to guess as many times as you want.

@zylosz That person is probably a scammer, ignore them. Do not send them your seed phrase.
