Bitpay SCAM #7508

Have had my money stuck in this bitpay wallet for 2 weeks now! First everything was fine until sent money to my wallet the second time.. things started to get complicated because bitpay randomly switches addresses unless you make a auditable one! Which makes no sense it’s like they want your money to get trapped!!! Then I send 3. Transactions none confirmed or shows up on Blockchain!!! It was at first now absolutely nothing it’s REDICULOUS I personally would not recommended anyone use BITPAY !! How do I get my money out these wiesles

Gamboster commented 6 years ago

It is recommended as a good practice that bitcoin addresses change when money is sent or received. For a matter of privacy. This is optional because you can create unique address wallets. Anyway, this has nothing to do with your money being trapped. From your private key you can generate infinite addresses that can be signed in the same way and move your funds.

If your transactions were not confirmed, you could start with passing the transactions id

militant13 commented 6 years ago

It is RECOMMENDED key word.. but if you’re going to do some shit like that atleast inform people that they should send all of their funds from each address!! The problem now is my transactions are not being broadcasted onto the Blockchain the wallet shows history but nothing is on the Blockchain and I see my money is still in same wallet

militant13 commented 6 years ago

And that has everything to do with my money being trapped for your information!! If I had 1 wallet address I wouldn’t have this problem!!

militant13 commented 6 years ago

And who are you what could you do for me?

Gamboster commented 6 years ago

I'm Gamboster, Hello

It is not necessary to have all your funds in the same address, and if you do not understand about this, I recommend reading about technicalities before starting to talk without sense. https://support.bitpay.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002989643-Why-does-my-BitPay-wallet-s-bitcoin-address-keep-changing-

If what happens is that the transactions are not being broadcasted in the blockchain, then if it is a bug we will try to resolve it as soon as possible. Greetings.

militant13 commented 6 years ago

I know why wallet address can change.. I said you should inform people of that before hand so they leave no money in the wallet... because when it generates a new address to receive funds you end up with money in 2 BTC addresses in 1 wallet !! Resulting in what’s going on now... when you try to send funds nothing happens...

You are bitpay support?? This is how you handle customer problems?? I reported this dumbass company to BBB and will spread to everyone who shares my issues I hope they shut this shit the fuck down and give people there money back!! There’s people with a lot of fucking money trapped in your shitty fucking wallet and it’s been going on for months till people give up... this is your support I hope you get hacked

gabrielbazan7 commented 6 years ago

because when it generates a new address to receive funds you end up with money in 2 BTC addresses in 1 wallet !! Resulting in what’s going on now... when you try to send funds nothing happens.

You are wrong @militant13 in all you said. I recommend you to read more about Bitcoin protocol. Now, could you explain your problem better without complaining about the addresses that has nothing to do with your problem ? Thanks

militant13 commented 6 years ago

Dickhead I know about bitcoin I been doin this for years they are not the only one that changes addresses!! The money is not moving there is no support besides dickheads like you that feel like your more intelligent than someone else.... many wallets do that I understand why.. this wallet trapped my funds and won’t send it that’s a problem right?? Something wrong has to be happening for there to be a problem right?? Why don’t yall solve the fucking problem instead of trying to critique people’s knowledge on fucking coin

gabrielbazan7 commented 6 years ago

Feel free to import your 12 words in another wallet.

militant13 commented 6 years ago

Feel free?? It doesn’t work either why you closing my shit

carlosgfranco commented 6 years ago

@gabrielbazan7 I tried to import my wallet in Mycellium, given that not only me but many people are having issues with non-existing transactions. I get "master seed incorrect"
