Perhaps taking a cue from Apple and Google but the framework should really have an app store for developers to sell their applications (module or module bundles) easy in a convenient place for users. It would encompass installing and updating oyster based applicaitions. A command-line ports-like extension of this could easily be included as well.
Putting aside issues like profit sharing, approval processes and license issues this seems like the way to go and should land in 1.0. The main issue will be putting together an acceptable interface for the job. Perhaps a web site separate from the administrative interface and framework to browse and buy and then using the port-like CLI extension to install?
