2FA - "There is an error saving your code" (seems a few people are getting this error) #541

Which Site (Platform or Website) - Beta platform Site Version (if known): -?- Which Page: ‘Finish 2-factor Authentication setup’

What sequence of actions just before error: After the ‘Please setup 2-factor authentication’ message, and using the QR code to input key into phone app (both Authy & FreeOTP - tested) - selecting ‘next’ to the ‘finish setup’ dialog & entering generated code from app

Problem Type (error_msg, functionality, correctness, no response, unexpected response, other :disappointed:Message: Error: There was an error saving your 2FA code. Please try again

Problem Duration (once, sporadic, repeated, always):Always Brief Description (expand as needed, be to the point):Same problem with 2 different browsers, 2 different OS, and 2 different authentication apps, have also tried Mark Harrisons suggestion of power cycling the phone prior to retrying 2FA setup ReporterName: Dsky Date/Time: 20 March 2018

@PopulousMarkHarrison I have investigated this issue for a while but could not reproduce the issue on my end. Can you check again and let me know if it 's still happening?
