no gradient creation

not really a problem... but there is no new gradient option
people are forced to choose from a list of gradients instead of having the
freedom to make their own. This proves to be problematic when making
electricsheep because the server's algorithm expunges sheep that contain
"rainbows". The simple agility to make gradients would be appreciated.

Yes, I agree.  There are "gradient editor" tools available, but it's not that 
same as
having an integrated tool.  The Qt4 software library comes with a couple of 
example
gradient editor tools.  I'm wondering if one of them can be easily adapted.

The latest version 1.4.7 has a very simple gradient editor that allows you to 
edit
gradients loaded from cpt or ggr gradient files.  It also allows 
adding/removing of
gradient stops, changing a stop color, moving stops, and saving to a cpt 
gradient
file.
