Bitwarden's Firefox Extension breaks keyboard inputs after first use #2125

Open dipack95 opened 2 years ago

dipack95 commented 2 years ago

Steps To Reproduce

Currently on Bitwarden's v1.53.0 Firefox extension.

  1. Click on the Bitwarden Firefox extension, to copy a username/password/any information
  2. Paste into a field of your choice
  3. Observe that the extension is currently in "selected" mode, even after moving the focus away from it (as shown in attached image)
  4. Firefox keyboard functionality is now broken, like using the arrow keys to move the cursor back and forth, block text select like Ctrl + \<Arrow key>, etc.

Expected Result

  1. The extension should not be in "selected" mode, once the focus has shifted away from it
  2. Keyboard functionality should not be affected

Hi @dipack95, We're cleaning up our repositories in preparation for a major reorganization. Issues from last year will be marked as stale and closed after two weeks. If you still need help, comment to let us know and we'll look into it. Thanks!

This is still an issue, @bitwarden-bot.

I can't seem to reproduce this on Firefox 99. It could be limited to Linux though since I've only tested on MacOS and Windows. @dipack95 have you tried disabling the other extensions?
