Hi there,
I attempted to reproduce your issue and was unable to do so. Would you first try to update Bitwarden to the latest available version?
I am not sure what happened, I didn't update the software, but now it seems to be working...
This is also the exact case for me as well. I am using the desktop app on Kubuntu 23.10. It worked fine before the upgrade from 23.04 to 23.10. I am on Desktop V2024.2.0. I can try to reinstall and see if that helps.
I also have KDE Neon 6 on my laptop and I just noticed that is not working here also. Clicking on "Copy Password" as shown says "Password Copied" but it is not. I have to manually make the password visible and select and copy it that way.
Steps To Reproduce
Go to extension in firefox or safari (or desktop)
Click copy password button (with out showing the password)
paste into password field on account
click login
Go to extension in firefox or safari or login to desktop app
reveal the password (in browser, show profile, then reveal the password)
copy the revealed password
paste password into the login
click login
Expected Result
Just clicking the copy password should paste the correct password into the field when it hasn't loaded automatically.
Actual Result
I get wrong password messages every time. When I reveal the password first before copying, I can login successfully.

No response
Additional Context
There also seems to be a bug in bitwarden showing up to autofill the password, which could also potentially bypass this issue.
