Can’t Paste master password

Steps To Reproduce

1. open a web site that requires a login with locked vault
2. when selecting credentials, BW will ask for master password
3. try pasting your password from the clipboard - it won’t work

Expected Result

I expected to be able to paste my password from the clipboard. Due to the length of my master password (32 alphanumerical characters) and its randomness this is practically impossible to put in manually.

Actual Result

It won’t accept pasting from the clipboard.

Additional Context

Unless this is a security feature (which does not seem to be in place in any other situation when unlocking the vault), I’d have to weaken my master password considerably to be able to type this in frequently. I use iOS‘s own password vault for this. I unlock it, get my master password, then unlock Bitwarden.

Thank you for your report. I was able to reproduce this and have flagged it internally. Please feel free to post additional information, such as screenshots or a screen video recordings, if you wish.

As a side note, you may want to consider using a passphrase; Using a master password which you have not memorized may result in a lock-out.
