6 years ago Oh, I saw in another comment that in "Ciphers[396].Notes" 396 is the offending record number.
Looking at the file for that record I see that 1Password "notesPlain" field is empty but "Show form details" reveals that 1Password stored the EULA on some site in its entirety. Yeeegh!
OK now it worked. Leaving this here for others to discover.
I think some work on the error messaging is in order. If I find myself with some time (unlikely!) I'd be happy to fix that.
I'm getting an error on import on OS X of a 1pif file into a free account.
I've exported the items into a tsv and loaded into a spreadsheet and checked the lengths, removing any that are too long in 1Password, re-export, etc. with no luck.
I saw in another issue that it's actually the encrypted length that it's complaining about.
What I don't know is which item is causing the problem!
