Browser doesn't save user name and password information #4

I went into Tools->Preferences-Privacy and check the remember passwords box. I then entered my username and password for the ArcaOS matis site and for Github in neither case did it remember the information. Selecting Passwords from the tools menu shows no saved login information. Checking "All Preferences" shows that I have changed save passwords to yes.

I can confirm that but I will ask you to check this on other platforms (Linux, Windows). Does it work there? It might be an experimental/unimplemented feature in the test build version of Otter we have (1.0.81 weekly 400 (git-399bb18)). You should use the same build on another system too.

This works as expected in the windows version. It opens a bar at the top of thebrowser window asking if I want to save the logon information with the choice save or cancel. It saves it to the password tool where it can be viewed. No bar appears on the OS2 version.
