not working anymore with iphone #101

1. after update,it never installs

the problem is i can not install this program on my iphone. it warns me that 
this application is not comatible 
with this iphone. i used previous version perfectly but now it is unusable.my 
iphone is 2.1

2.1 is pretty old at this point.  I think apple is up to 2.2.1.

Same issue here on 2.2.1.

The new update keeps giving me the following error when I sync with iTunes:

"The application "Now Playing" was not installed on the iPhone because it is 
not compatible with this iPhone."

Sorry. Nothing I can do. Apple is in control of the upgrade and 
install process. You should contact them.

Same problem.  I updated Now Playing and it hasn't worked since.  I tried
reinstalling and got the same error reported above.  Reading through the 
reviews it
sounds like others are having this problem with this update as well.

Jon, as i said already.  This is not something that is within my control.  
Please contact Apple about this issue.

BTW, have you made sure that your phone is up to date with all patches?  Also 
try restarting your phone.
