Cannot Access my Control Panel or Login to Phpmydirectory

When trying to access my CP i am getting this error

License Error There was a problem validating your software license.

• Verify your license code is in defaults.php
• Try reissueing your license.

If you still receive problems, please contact support.

Refresh

When trying to access the phpmydirectory website to reissue my license i am getting this error

Critical Error Could not connect to the database.

Urgent please advise what is going on. My website is my livelihood!!

Yes I got this response which works

@damicron https://github.com/damicron : Hi, I had same issue, that admin area was not accessable anymore. I uploaded the index and admin_index to cp folder, delted the line 89, and: It works. Thanks so much for your help here in this thread. Alex

Hello All,

The fix is not 100%. I tried to add a location this morning and i get the license error page on the redirect.

Has anyone also encountered this problem and have any suggestions?

I managed to get back into the admin site, thanks for the fix
