config.php is in repo but should not be #13

  • It would be nice if the database user wasn't edited into a checked-in file. Maybe forums/config.php should be moved to forums/config.php.sample?

yes.

Then if it is added to .gitignore, make sure you commit the rename first. Then do the .gitignore change in a separate commit. Otherwise it won't work, or will take more steps to delete from online repo or offline repo(s). I can potentially fix some issues like this one or others as requested.
