Hey, so the current markdown renderer used on the website doesn't support gtihub flavored markdown with language-specific code fencing. Instead the syntax highlighting is done in JS on the website (it only supports Lua and GLSL right now to save file size, and autodetects the language).
I have some plans to change the website to be generated as static content. It's a pretty big overhaul but at that point I may be changing the tooling around to support fenced code blocks like this. Right now though it isn't really compatible with the tooling. Thanks for the PRs though!
