Version Info
TongueTied: 1.3.6

It would be very nice to have a feature to send or reset the password for a
registered user.

Hi Adam,

Just so I am clear, do you mean for TongueTied send a generated password to the
user's email if the user forgot their password? Like some "I forgot my
password" link on the logon page. Or do you mean for an administrator to reset
the user's password?

Currently passwords can be reset in the following two ways.

For a user wanting to change his/her own password:
1. Login as user
2. Click on the "Account Management" tab
3. Click on the "Change Password" sub menu in the top left corner
4. Complete form
5. Click Save

Users password should be updated.

For Administrator to change another users password:
1. Login as an administrator
2. Select the "Users" tab
3. Find the user you want to change and click on the user
4. Click the "Change password" link
5. Complete form
6. Click Save

Password of user should now be updated.

Hi,

I mean the case "I forgot my password". I just recovered mine by using the
admin account. The other way would be better. Reseting a password by the admin
is not that important in my eyes.
