Ok, let's get this going.

I've added the new homepage button with an imagemap which currently goes nowhere. I will begin creating the investors and business pages so that we have something to show today.

Sounds good. I'll get all the styling figured out so we have the right color schemes.

To update you. I've added a rate field with filtering on the explore projects page.

Michael, let me know when you might have time to do more work.

I think the functionality is really getting there (we're basically a few pages away from having 90% of the mockup done). I'd like to pound away at this and get a mostly working concept done to look at in class Wednesday but I know there's a lot going on this (& next) week so don't feel obligated. I'm hoping to get this in a state that solidifies its progress so we can make a decision late in class on Wednesday.

I'm going to put in a big push tomorrow night. What do you need from me other than the stylistic elements of the site?

Not too much. I think the key things are:

I like the animation, though it needs refinement like you said. Cool idea though. I think the lighter color scheme is better in my opinion. Brighter is always better, and if we are shooting for a kickstart funding circle type thing bright is the way to go. On May 21, 2012, at 10:48 PM, Brandon Titus wrote:

  • The main graphic needs to be bigger but I really don't just want to stretch it. I'd REALLY like to do an animated HTML5 style thing. I sent you an email, let me know what you think (please be understanding, it's pretty rough right now)
  • Can you decide whether we should stick with our currently brighter color scheme or go in the direction Gurudonation is?

The issue I'm running into with the color scheme is finding a text color that contrasts well with it. I suppose I should go to a color palette generator and plug our colors in instead of just guessing at potential options.

We can look at this more in class, as well. I think our feature set is already very strong.
