Desktop (wxWidgets) or Mobile (Android): desktop
If Mobile, installed from Play Store or F-Droid:
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
No, just an enhancement
Describe the solution you'd like
Back in the old days there was this software called Altiris.
It was used for remote management, software deployment, etc. There used to be a feature that would let you remote control a group of machines by setting one as a "host" or "master". Basically what would happen is that all keyboard and mouse inputs would then be sent to the other machines in the group I think they called them "slaves".
This was very useful for deploying software to computer labs...especially when said software didn't have proper deployment options (Corel suite for example). Of course, it was a bit buggy, and sometimes machines would stop accepting inputs....but it worked great most of the time, if you were careful and didn't move too fast.
I would like to see something similar implemented in multivnc for desktop at least. A way to send the same keyboard/mouse inputs to a group of machines at the same time.
Describe alternatives you've considered
There is other software like old altiris as far as I am aware.
Sure there are command line utilities for automating software...but nothing like this.
Additional context
I am attempting to find old screenshots of this particular feature from altiris...but there is limited information...going to see if I can dig up an old copy and put it in a VM or something. Stay tuned.
