MultiVNC is a cross-platform Multicast-enabled VNC viewer based on LibVNCClient. The desktop version runs on Unix, Mac OS X and Windows. There also is an Android version.
There is a lot of wasted space in the UI. Some suggestions to improve it:
[x] 1. Firstly, do #219 to avoid scrollbars and/or cut-out content.
Unify the tab bar, toolbar, status bar and menus in a single row. You could even have drop-downs for the server and bookmarks too, so everything is in a single row.
Make fullscreen remove toolbar, status bar, statistics and the tabs bar. The only thing that should be in the fullscreen is the other device's screen, and a way to exit fullscreen, which could be:
[ ] a key combo (e.g. Ctrl+F11) that's never grabbed by the device, showed when you enter fullscreen (like Firefox does)
[ ] a button to exit fullscreen that appears when you hover the top edge of the screen (like Firefox); or that is always visible on top of the content (without taking space away from it)
[x] hide status bar in fullscreen mode 8ff872caafe6ac25b1ab0915164930a4f5a5b9a5
These would greatly improve the usability when viewing a screen with more resolution than you have (e.g. a 1080p on a 720p screen, or a phone with really tall vertical resolution that doesn't fit vertically).
