Coursework content

Draft an email to apply for an internship at a fictional company called Vonda. Make sure to include the five things below:

  1. Why you want to become a software developer
  2. Your background and your past
  3. What you are doing at the moment
  4. Where you see yourself in the future
  5. Why Vonda should give you the opportunity to do an internship

The email should be formatted in a way that is ready to be sent. Make sure you include a subject title and pay attention to the formatting (font type and size, alignment etc).

How are you progressing on the PD tasks? I’d love to see some tasks up for review!

@kroker42 Unfortunately, I've been struggling with PDs lately due to some issues, so I'm behind on the coursework, specifically PDs. However, I should be able to catch up on the technical modules. I'm working on it and will figure it out somehow.

Thanks for replying so quickly. I’m sorry to hear that, I hope you catch up soon.

Can I suggest that you try to do some of the PD work too? Perhaps, 10-20% of your time? Focus on a PD task that has high priority but is perhaps less time consuming (if you can find one). This way, it might not feel so overwhelming and be more fun than to have it all hanging over you. And also provide a bit of variation from the technical tasks.
