How can I switch of "predictions"? #50

Open ghost opened 8 years ago

When I upload an invoice Bkper fills out all the fields of the booking with nonsence (only the date field may be accurate). This is annoying and increases very much the risk of making mistakes. I think these data are meant to be a kind of predictions of what Bkper thinks (!?) that I want to fill out. But how could Bkper ever know that, and obviously Bkper does not know, but just repeats the last booking or so. And why should I want Bkper to do that? What's wrong with filling out those fields by myself? I know what they should be and Bkper doesn't. So, my question is: is there a way to switch off these "predictions"?

Hi Stylo,
These two articles Discovery process Record Guide Describe how bkper completes transactions.

Maybe with a little adjustment to your input using the from and to account names at the beginning of your description solve the issue.

Please let us know if this works for you.

Hi Jacob,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I understand now this "prediction function", as I called it, is actually called "discovery process". So, my question is: how do I switch off this discovery process? I could not find information on that, but maybe I overlooked it. I will search some more for this information. I want the fields (except maybe the date field) to be completely empty, to avoid having to empty them first manually and the risk of making mistakes. I always and only fill out the booking fields manually, and I don't need automation. My question refers to the web version.

Thanks.
