Hi,
my Linux is an Ubuntu 12.04 Desktop with Ubuntu Standard
Kernel 3.2.0-29-generic. My aircrack is "Aircrack-ng 1.1 r2154".
I build my version direct from SVN.
The option --ignore-negative-one is an additional single option.
These option must be set for some drivers and removes the
message that says 'fixed channel <interface>: -1'.
I attach my changes of wep.py and wpa.py.
Freddy

oops. sorry. I am running Backtrack 5 r3 on live usb. air-suite works fine but
when i use fern wifi cracker against wpa, after i select my passwords list (its
a .txt file),it hangs in the deauthentication phase. is it normal to take a
while at this point or no...
im booting from usb
cant connect to internet through backtrack, even though i can through windows 7,
so i cant update via 'apt-get'
and packet injection working...
any thoughts...?anyone?

In the deauthentication stage, Fern tries to deauthenticate the clients on the
network to capture the handshake when the clients try to reconnect after being
disconnected..
A delay in the deauthentication phase suggests that the hadshakes have not been
captured.. For the program to proceed with cracking, it has to capture the
handshake first..
You can update the program using the update button on the programs mainwindow
Try using WICD (GUI frontend) or iwlist/iwconfig (Command Mode) in connecting
to the access point..
