Implementing support for a wonderous control surface in a wonderous DAW. Full support of the X-Touch is achieved by implementing the XCtl protocol in Renoise, and this opens the door to a number of higher-level interactions. It's a full-blown control surface FFS, not just a mixer controller.

Sends: Routing sends jumps from first to last option for a send dest. #12

Routing sends (using the knob to select menu for send destination and then moving fader to set the destination) jumps from first to last option for a send destination. No ability to select the send destination in between first and last. for when having more than 2 send/return tracks. At the SEND page: Fader 3 moves along with changing the Send panning in Send Page. I don’t know if it’s a visual thing for representation on the fader, where the stereo image lies.

Need steps to reproduce.

I must mention that the tool will skip over the 8 send tracks it creates for the VU LEDs. So, if you have Send 01, eight XT LED tracks, then Send 02, only Send 01 and Send 02 will show up. Is that what you witnessed? I created 4 send tracks in a new song and the selection was working fine.

OK. First of all it works amazingly! But, still this little thingy. Here: Have a few Send tracks created. Then, Select a track and add send devices. Now, Go to PLUG-IN Page and try changing the send device Rcvr. <--- Also; Switch to Send Page and move a fader to adjust The Send's amount. The adjacent fader also moves with it.<---- I have recorded it on video if you need see it.

Now, this is how I do it. SEND => Click to Add=> PLUG-IN=> Push the encoder #Send Amount => Rotate the Rcvr encoder. All good! But moving the fader instead, will still do the jumping. It's not really a problem since the encoder is what should be used foremost. If it's an easy fix or not , I don't know.

This seems related to #13. When you notice a mapping "left over" from a previous page, or just plain weird, it may be due to a crash in a notifier. Open the scripting terminal, reload the tool, and repeat the sequence of actions. If there was an error somewhere, it should appear on the terminal. You can then copy-paste on https://gist.github.com/ and link here.

@nickcent is this still an issue?

Hey, the thing is working just fine - just need to press down on the knob and get in the menu to choose Receiver using the rotary instead. The fader does work, but it is simply very sensitive and pretty much not usable, the fader thatis , for the specific task. No biggie!
